Yeah, the Chelsea Third is a mystery. Fantastic shirt but so rarely used. It's so nice that they could have got a second season out of it, but it seems they've got a sashed white shirt for next year. A pity. - Jay29ers

Hey Jay - just to say that I wholeheartedly agree with you on the Bilbao shirt which is possibly one of my favourite shirts of the 2001/12 season (if not THE favourite), but I really wanted to say that I'm glad I'm not the only one in this country who has recognised that the white Chelsea shirt is, as you say - and i couldn't put it better myself- a 'beautiful criminally underused' shirt this season, especially considering it seems to have been deployed in big games that have dictated their change in fortunes, yet seems to have been largely off the radar. Lovely shirt.

Have to say I'm not a fan of the 'angled' shoulder/crest bar like Tottenham's 10/11 home shirt though, but then I'm more a fan of symmetry when it comes to aesthetics. As much as i have no problem whatsoever with Umbro's choices for England shirts over the last couple of years - and bringing street artists like Eine in to work on their 'Tailored by' range really is inspiring and forward-thinking- I do wish they'd bring back that classic barred 1982 design, even if it was for a limited release. Get a barred design wrong and its as ugly and messy as a Russian knife fight, but get it right and it's a piece of art. - Bullybwoy
