Just wanting to hear peoples thoughts about possible design competitions we could hold on here.

So get them up here and I'll see if I can get one started. I have an idea myself but I'll wait and see what other people come up with, as we're pretty over due in my opinion.

So get them creative ideas posted up here, just keep it football orientated.

We don't have much variants for kit designing contest, only something like desing a kit (or three kits) for a team. Maybe with some specific kitmaker and sponsor. I saw last year that is a website where is a contest organized as championship and cup/cups, where every week the competitors must design a specific team or they can choose from a number of teams. Then they vote and clasified the designs. There all kind of awards, badges for the winners. All interesting, but it's in Spanish and I didn't understand much. If I'm not wrong axeldeviaje is participating, maybe we could ask him more. I don't propose to copy or steal their idea. We could associate with them or make with their permission something similar.

Hmmm I do like this idea, but maybe designing 3 kits for a competition would be a little too much, I think most people would just create a singular design and then put it into 3 different colours which imo isn't really necessary.

I know of the website you're talking about and I think that would definitely be feasible to do here, someone can make the badges and the winner can have them put on their profile, or given member points to show their achievements perhaps?

An idea I was having was for a logo design competition, to take a team famous from the past and give it an up to date makeover, not sure how many people would like to take part in a logo design contest though. Maybe if it got some coverage at FSC it would interest more people.

I use to do a design for a team and make different coloured versions for away and third kit. I received some critics about that, but I will not change my custom. I think it's better to do a design per team and see how it looks with other colours then to use twoo or three designs for an infinite number of teams (as it is in real life).
A logo design competition is a great idea, but not for me. I think that it's important to have some heraldry knowledge to do a good logo. But never say never.

We'll now be awarding these rosette type things to symbolise peoples victories for each competition you place in.
