Great kit and concept. Love it. The only problem is that any shirt that features that newspaper as a sponsor is going to be tainted by its past and everything it stands for.
The Hippodrome sponsor would work on this too, wouldn't it?
Thanks Jay. Pardon me for not knowing what's the story behind the newspaper sponsor, which I am still clueless about due to not being an Englishman myself.
Anyway, the decision to adopt the Sun in this concept was purely on 'artistic' and 'iconic' reason, namely, the red background suits the Colchester old crest and the Sun's logo stands out as an 'iconic brand'.
Oh I understand entirely. I know you weren't endorsing the newspaper.
