adidas 8 Months, 1 Week ago Karma: 0
Hi.
I really like the design of football shirts.
I am certainly not a professional and even more surprised that the designers of this brand are more professionals admit many mistakes in their models in recent years.
These errors are particularly evident in the collars of their models.
When I see that those players who wear Adidas often wear these shirts under other Adidas T-shirt. I understand that they do not because they are cold. They wear those T-shirts with collars because Adidas is very uncomfortable and very baggy and not very comfortable.
There is very clearly seen that the designers have made a mistake when they made these collars.
It will be good if the guys here that also make their models drew attention to these errors and their models do not repeat the mistakes of designers Adidas.

2006-2008

2008-2010
And of course Merry Xmas to you all!

You have a good point. Accidentaly a have the 2006/08 kit and cannot wear this shirt without a T-shirt bellow, because it's synthetic, and I realy like to wear cotton instead of synthetic. But there is an other problem, this days almoast all football players wears under theyr shirts all kind of underarmour shirts, and it's very possible to be visible.

It's weird because a lot of shirts are made with the players more in mind these days. I think a lot of the time though they sacrifice some of this for style though. I wouldn't particularly say the collars like this are an error on the designers part, just add style to the shirt. The under shirts players where beneath are usually to help circulation but can as you say be there to make it a little more comfortable as when you're running a lot and you've got the crest in a different material above your nipple a lot of rubbing occurs and it doesn't half hurt afterwards

I see here I have not properly understood.
I say that in 80's years made the Adidas shirt collars there do not seem so bad. Although the material is the same beat from synthetics.
just there to designers worked better than right now.

Under these shirts when players wore no T-shirts though nipples in those players, too, was beaten with a feeling of.

The 'under armour' concept hadn't been introduced into football back then.

Also the designs were not as modern. You can only make shirts with the same collars for a certain amount of time before the fans would become bored and want a change.

Adidas have collars like these now, just check Marseille and designs like this. Just their has to be a rotation so fans will keep buying.

I understanded you perfectly. The new large V neck or collars looks unaesthetic with T-shirt under.

Oh, yes.
That I have in mind.
Yes, of course designers must make new models but the new must be better than the older models. Currently, designers have done wrong and there was a problem with their collars.

Look at the latest models.
There clearly that the designers decided to solve the problem not the best way.
They completely removed the collar.
So it seems that cut off the collar and are ready to send to Geliotine.

Personally, I hate the collars on the gerneric adidas template worn by Houston Dynamo, but the collars on most of the new templates by adidas are really nice looking and feeling.

On the subject, some of the collar designs adidas should bring back, such as the "Grandad" and the lace up. it would be great to see modern versions of them.
