Newcastle United unveiled the brand new Newcastle United home Adidas kit for the 2009/10 season.
The traditional black-and-white striped design will be worn by the Geordies next season.

Nice and traditional but somehow doesn't really look right, "from a distance the shirts are almost like watching nuns kick a ball around." I think it looks like that in any recent kit the way Newcastle have been playing :D. And as for the away kit, I quite like it.

being a newcaslte united season ticket holder i was hugely dissapointed at the 09/10 home jersey. in my opinion our previous home jersey was the best home strip we have had of all time so its no suprise that this years is a huge dissapointment. the collar isnt too impresive, looks like a umbro jersey we had back in the 80s. it just doesnt suit the players when ive seen photos. the back of the shirt, very poor. it ok if your right next to the pitched or friend but name and number on the back are not vissable at all. as a season ticket holder i saw newcastle united sport this jersey, im sat in level 2, at the front, and even from a few feet the names and numbers are like a mush of letters any one sitting further back would surely not be able to recognise any writing on the rear of the shirts. from a distance the shirts are almost like watching nuns kick a ball around. let hops the shirt changes with the sponsor change. id give this shirt a 1/10 sorry addidas but last years jersey really did look good. 10/10 for that one definately. |
