If you're a totally new starter to designing kits then I recommend you check out this tutorial on the matter... www.designfootball.com/tutorials/football-kit-design-tutorial/

Follow it word for word and you'll be fine, but any questions on anything there just ask

it wont let me add the kits from the downloads

Sorry you're going to have to explain what you're doing a bit more in detail. Which downloads are you talking about and what are you adding them to.
