- Generic Description: This crest is largely inspired by Ajax's crests from 1900-1990, using the full name "Amsterdamsche Football Club" from the original crests, and a modified version of the Ajax bust from the crest preceding the current one. The colors are taken from the Amsterdam flag, as is the "XXX."
