Kits Competition for teams playing in Uruguay Primera Division.
As a uruguayan I have always made losts of kits for teams in my country. I would like to see what other people, from other parts of the world would do for these teams. This competition is just for fun!!!
I am head of a group trying to establish a new non-league football club in England. The provisional name for the club is 'Billingbear FC' but this is subject to change as it has not been formally submitted yet. We are very much work in progress and hoping to be accepted into a local league for next season.
Recently was the 2014 Copa Libertadores´ draw in Luque, Paraguay, so I decided to do this competition of kit designs of the teams that are going to participate in it.
Unless you've been holidaying on Mars in recent weeks, you'll know that Ireland is abuzz with the recent appointment of Martin O'Neill and, particularly, Roy Keane as the national side's management team. This, to me, sounds a particularly fitting time for a teamup with Warrior, considering Keane's playing reputation.
This comp will start on the 19th October, and end on 30th of November
This is a competition to design a shirt for Ghana, for the World Cup in Brazil in 2014 and the African Nations Cup in 2015, and will be going there as one of the pre-eminent teams on the continent.
This is a VERY quick just-for-fun competition to design kits and a crest for a Best of the Rest team (a select XI-style dream team) to join the 32 qualifiers in Brazil next summer. Made up of the best players who will miss out on the tournament, the kit should somehow reflect the side's cosmopolitan makeup.
This is a competition to design a logo for Federación Colombiana de Fútbol, the Colombian national team, which is enjoying a renaissance and is within sight of the 2014 World Cup finals.
THIS COMPETITION WILL START ON WEDNESDAY 16TH OCTOBER Another New Competition, this is to design a charity kit.
There are four Categories, home and change kits for club sides, and for National teams.
The majority of major cities the world have professional football teams carrying their name. There's Birmingham, Leeds, Manchester United and City, Liverpool and Hull in England. Barcelona, Real and Atletico Madrid, Inter and AC Milan, PSG, Bayern Munich and Lyon in Europe. Sao Paulo, Raja Casablanca, Sanfrecce Hiroshima and L.A Galaxy in the rest of the world. Many of these cities have other teams with different names, Aston Villa and Espanyol for example.
This is a competition that is going to challenge logo designers only.
The goal of this competition is to make the best club emblem, of any team in the Premier league.
The Brazilian championship gets underway this may, and to celebrate, here is a new kit competition for one of its greatest teams. Nicknamed Timão (grand team), Sport Club Corinthians Paulista are the five time champions of Brazil, the 3 times Brazilian cup winners, 26 times Paulista State champions and 2012 Copa Libertadores and World Club Cup winners.
Some months ago there was a competition which consisted of designed kits based on International flags. This competition is simillar, but now, you have to design kits inspired in the club's cities' flags (like Madrid, Amsterdam, Bruges, Paris...).
We're helping to start up NORTH EAST FUTSAL to run and develop futsal in the North East. There will be Boro, Teesside, York and in the future, Newcastle, Sunderland etc all involved. We want a nice crest to represent the region, which will cover the three COUNTY FAs in the area - Nothumberland, Durham and North Riding.
I recently wrote a piece for this site concerning the changing of kits in the event of a clash in cup finals. The point being that a small modification to one or both first choice kits could avoid a team having to wear unfamiliar colours for an important occasion.
This competition is intended to put that principle into practice. Take any significant historical final match - featuring no "away" team - where at least one team had to change, take each team's first choice kits for that season and edit them so there would no longer be a "clash".
So, here we go. The objective of the competition is to design an away kit for the legendary Dutch team, none other than Ajax Amsterdam.
The home kit can't really be "designed", since it's a never changed institution (and one of the most beautiful kits in Europe) so it's the away kit you have to do.
Major League Soccer announced today the creation of its newest franchise, New York FC. The team don't have any logo or uniform yet, so I thought this would be a good reason for a competition.
