I'm just going to use your old one and extend the boarder so that it it'll fit. I can't accept this template since it's completely stealing from another member of this site. I can stop you from using it in the league but it's not up to me if you use it elsewhere.

I suggest you don't use this template at all going forward. People using stealing this is kind of becoming a joke at this point and its reflecting poorly on the community here. I don't specifically mean you Loko, but everybody who's stealing even a fraction of work from others.

I know that people have wonderful ideas because it shows on the raw designs, but it's just baffling to me that some choose to use it on somebody else's presentation. Make everything you do a personal project with your own style of template and your work will stick out.

Ok, I can tell that this template I drew it, so, you are right, my work is inspired by Angelo Trofa's and your work, if you mean it is stolen, probably you're right, probably you're not, because I based on somebody else's work, but I didn't steal it.
So I can apologize with you and the other members of this wonderful community.
I don't know in what level of "inspiration" is considered stealing, but it never will happen again.
Once more, I offer to you and Angelo Trofa my apologizes, although this template wasn't stolen from anybody.

@AlexCont11 Man, the outlines are all the same as his. Everything lines up.

I dont want to preach or be the plagiarism police, im sincerely not elitist either, but its just a thing that may bother me more than others, and hardly anybody says anything about it.Here's my opinion, and I say this civilly, not trying to stir anything up:

Being inspired by something isn't just copying it. Inspiration is just something you use and keep in the back of your mind when you're creating something of your own. If if Angelo's template truly inspires you, you would go and create something based on your own stylized drawings or image. Maybe its still a mannequin, maybe not.

I myself am inspired by his work, and i think it shows in my template quite obviously, but not in the same way as yours. I dont mean to be holier-than-thou, but i'm just showing an example. Take this for instance :

Is it a mannequin guy like Trofas? Yes.
Is it clear inspiration? Yes
Is it directly replicating anything he's ever done? No.

Its not perfect by any means, but its got a certain style of its own, and can clearly be called an original creation.

To clear my post up, everything ever posted on DF is inspired by the work of somebody, surely. Its impossible to avoid it because thats what gets us thinking in the first place. I dont know your limitations with computer programs and technical skill, but its really quite possible to create something totally original with any program. I dont speak for Angelo, but as a neutral who's been a part of this community for a while, ive noticed its best to show respect to the artist by putting your own twist on an established idea, not by making a carbon-copy ( or shabby edited replica) of their work.

Its quite depressing really, ive talked to other members of this site about it and they generally all say the same thing. Its hard to stay original because people so often do this, and its very hard to even think of new mediums in which to show work. When people come to this site, they really dont want to see every single person with the exact same template. Its just gets so boring after a while.

It'd really be a shame to see such a talented batch of amateur designers like us fall victim to an endless circle jerk of stealing work. Some other communities like Sportslogos and others are really quite odd because they all use the same presentation for their work.

I remember posting some basketball kits on SportsLogos a while back and the reception was really quite bizarre because some people didnt take kindly to something that wasn't what they were used to seeing, something with shading and texture, and I found it really quite hilarious and disturbing that people could be that petty and unoriginal.

Being on DF is really a blessing compared to those sites because our spectrum of work and talent pool is miles ahead, so it makes it a bit painful to watch if the aforementioned things start to creep in here.

Sorry for ranting on your submission really, but I hope this just puts things into perspective maybe for you and a few other members. Didn't mean to offend anybody if I did.

@AlexCont11 i think is stolen, and is stolen from moom.if you change 5% of the shape it doesnt mean its a new template.

I took Angelo's mannequin shape, mine looks like the same than his, but I didn't steal this template. Maybe I made a bad copy but trust me I didn't steal this template.
You said about my limitations, I'll say my limitations again, I don't have a computer, I only have an iPad for drawing, sketching and design, and my phone for photoshop.
That's not a excuse for copying somebody else's work, because I believe I made a copy, not stealing.
Sorry to you and Angelo, all my respects for both, you are great artists. Sorry if you or somebody else was offended by me, as you said, I will try to produce my own mannequin, with my own style, but I'll continue working with designs in action as I told u it never will happen again, and once more... I'm sorry.
