South Korea World Cup Away
This is my entry for the World Cup Away competition.
- I chose to use a cream colour for the base of the kit, because it blends nicely with the white of the flag and the yellow of the Imperial Seal of Korea, which was prominent during the Korean Empire.
- The abstract-looking strips on the front of the shirt somewhat represent two high-speed trains crossing paths. This is a nod to the futuristic, technologically-advanced Korean Republic we know today, and also incorporates the colours of the flag into the kit.
- Inside the collar of the shirt is an extract from the national anthem, which translates to 'Koreans, to the Korean way, always stay true'. (However I do not speak Korean, so apologies if this is not totally accurate.)
Comments would be appreciated.
