Cruz Azul

  • Contest: KOTW 2017 - 2025 [ARCHIVE]
  • Submitted by: Ochre Medium
  • Generic Description: Home kit for Cruz Azul, this has the crest used in the 1970's, and has a similar shade to the blue used in the naughties.

The shirt has 12 Jacquard print rows (representing 11 players + the fans) of a painted cross pattern, flanked by two stripes, which goes over the shoulders.

On the back of the shirt are the colours of Mexico, behind a rabbit (the mascot of Cruz Azul) and a full moon.

The jock tag is the teams nickname and a locomotive, and on the inside of the shirt is the phrase "Azul de Corazón" (Blue of Heart).
