Oh, and as you all know, we had a few changes on the format this season. I'd much appreciate some feedback on those changes, especially the swiss format system used on the "league stage". Should I keep it in future iterations of the competition, or should we revert to a more traditional approach (such as groups)?

@raffe One issue that effected me personally was the Buchholz system and the scheduling. I think the Buchholz system has its merits, but it punishes participants for playing against "lower" opponents, which is out of their hands. For example, I faced a few people lower in the standings, but only 1 towards the top and lost by 2 votes if I remember correctly. However, I dropped in the table after continuing to win because my opponents were lower in the standings, which doesn't make sense to me. Ultimately, I still made the knockouts, but it's definitely something to consider when having so few "games."

To fix this, I'd suggest making the "season" longer - maybe 10 weeks instead of 6 - so the pitfalls of the Buchholz system balance out, or make the matchups more balanced. Maybe if there's 20 competitors, split into 2 groups of 10 and everyone plays each other once and the top 4 from each group advance to the knockouts?

I don't know, I'm just nitpicking haha

Anyway, it was a lot of fun and you did a great job running it. Thank you!

Season 3 of the Design Football Super League has come to an end! I'd like to thank everyone who participated on the competition. I believe we all agree we were able to see some amazing designs these past few months. Among the participants, I'd like to make a special mention, as well as congratulate, Sithuralom, KitKong and giannakakis, who finished 2nd, 3rd and 4th, respectively, and presented stunning designs on every single round! I'm already looking forward to season 4 (whenever that happens! hahaha). Cheers! :)
