The famous Bible passage, John 3:16, reads “For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not perish but may have eternal life.”
Whatever religion, belief system or ethos we adhere to, there has to be love fueling the sacrifices made to provide members of and visitors to this website a new Crest Redesign Competition Weekly (CRCW) stage each week, with the 316th centred on Australian side Marconi Stallions.
Not a deluge of entries in this one, but it had a lot of the usual suspects in terms of styles, with, in some universe, great options for the Australian side. There was a classy roundel, from pellow77, an ultra-modern-and-minimalist submission, courtesy of Designeroo, and then similarly balanced-and-up-to-date efforts from jope_design (curiously labelling the design with a future CRCW team, perhaps as a result of repurposing), Rabbi and OTHYcreative.
It was OTHYcreative who won out in the voting - the negative-space S formed by the pair of boomerangs perhaps sealing it - but football (design) is clearly the real winner, and it’s thanks to all the members who get involved in these challenges and, particularly in CRCW, the management of the stages by Narci. We are grateful and thankful.
