Kit Design Tutorial for BeginnersHere

Guatemala are far from the finest international side in the world, but that certainly doesn’t preclude them from featuring in our Crest Redesign Competition Weekly (CRCW).

They did exactly that, unknowingly, in the 318th stage of the challenge, and we were very glad they did, as the entries were superb.

There were themes, such as the retention from the current IRL crest of the resplendent quetzal bird, the long tail of which forming a part-circle pseudo-border for the entries by, for example, OTHYcreative and Mdesign, and the winning entry saw the long tail deployed too, albeit slightly differently.

AroGerhardson’s badge combined a classic ball and nameplate effect with a cartoonish - in a good way - quetzal, bagging the victory through the voting. We can’t argue with that.

Cool design, sorry to be that person though, but AC Milan would never have the Italianate version of the city name written on their shirt.
