Baghdad-based Al-Shorta Sports Club (SC) are in the midst of establishing some dominance in the Iraq Stars League, so of course they needed a visit from the Crest Redesign Competition Weekly (CRCW).
Stage 395 of our famous challenge saw most entries stick with (tonal) green and gold, and while illuminaqi went with a modern look and white as contrast, as did Molejo - with the addition of the Iraqi national flag - the podium had a samey look as far as the palettes were concerned.
The styles, however, were varied, with Rabbi (third), MVdzn (second) and winner OTHYcreative doing harps and shields/bases in vastly different manners.
The voting went with the modern-cum-cartoonish look that we’ve seen a lot of IRL in recent years, and Al-Shorta SC would be blessed to wear it on their chests.
