Kit Design Tutorial for BeginnersHere

With some teams who feature in the Crest Redesign Competition Weekly (CRCW), it’s very hard to distance the creativity from the current team badge.

Not impossible, and in the 402nd stage of our long-running contest, Ochoa510 went ultra-minimalist and ultra-modern with their Real Sociedad effort, and to great effect, but generally there was a basis of faithfulness once the voting page was populated.

And as eventual winner raffe put it, the Basque Spanish La Liga side’s current crest is “really unique [i.e. distinctive], so I only tried to modernise it a little.”

That proved to be a good decision, and we - and Txuri-Urdin - were blessed.
