The result of the 225th stage of the Kit of the Week challenge (KOTW 225) is one of the least surprising we’ve had in some time.
While the voting was far from unanimous, and there were several sublime entries, Sithuralom’s shirt design for Brazilian side Sampaio Corrêa is a masterpiece, and they’re truly deserving of their victory.
Inspired by Lençóis Maranhenses National Park’s dunes and the colourful flags adorning the Série B club’s São Luís home, the finished article is the kind of thing, were it put into production, that would go viral and swiftly sell out.
Alas, it’s just a concept, and it’s not the first time we’ve suggested a shirt by a DF member should make the transition from fantasy to reality.
Indeed, perhaps there’s one available to vote on in the KCCA FC stage, or one in the ongoing Charlotte FC chapter.
