Kit Design Tutorial for BeginnersHere

When daydreaming that we’re designing the playing wear of a football team, there aren’t too many bigger fantasy clients than Club Deportivo Guadalajara. Chivas.

The giants of Mexican football have both distinctive colours and, refreshingly, an open-minded attitude to stylisation of their red-and-white stripes, which definitely suits the imaginations of Kit of the Week (KOTW) regulars.

All of the Home shirts the challenge stage provided for the Liga MX side featured some kind of creative licence on the stripes, with one of most extreme examples being the “dazzle pattern” design from giannakakis, but we also got quite a few change shirts, and it’s from that selection that the winner came.

Football_fan_04’s reverse chevron was a classy approach, but it was cukun - then Silky Smooth - who got the win. A beautifully patterned and trimmed Puma design got it done in the voting.

@Skyebaggieno team would. it's a concept
Cool design, sorry to be that person though, but AC Milan would never have the Italianate version of the city name written on their shirt.
Nice design SB. Love what you've done with the stripes.
