Securing the three-peat for Sithuralom, the 263rd stage of the Kit of the Week (KOTW) challenge was a cracker.
Malmö Fotbollförening (FF) - of the Allsvenskan, and Sweden’s most successful club - have a gorgeous identity deploying shades of blue and white, which was adopted with relish by the members.
It was really about the patterns, with Warrigal giving di blåe an Umbro design most famous for being worn by England (in truth, by Bernard Sumner), Skyebaggie using a repeated depiction of the Malmo skyline, and both ONI and NSGraphics delivering gorgeous Home shirts that have the tower-style feature atop the crest multiplied to wondrous effect.
And it was a pattern that won it for Sithuralom via the voting. A pattern inspired by a railway station applied to a dark-toned Puma-branded change shirt, just like in the Újpest FC stage. If it ain’t broke…
