i dont understand you man. why you dont design your own stuff and dont mind about others? also, this is a crest made for the turnament and the author is quite obvious, being uploaded by ciaran, so whats the point?

@ty Dude calm down, It was just a suggestion. And also, in case you didn't realise, these designs appear on google images and people who msee it there will have no clue where it comes from unless they open the link, which most people don't. It's just a mockup man, chill...

@ty Bro I was just experimenting. We mess around with existing crests don't we? So what's the problem with trying out what works better with a fantasy crest? As long as I credit where I got the work from, there is no reason why I shouldn't show the original artist another interpretation of their work.

@FH Logo Designs Don't have an opinion on this either way but I would ask for credit first and then act. I've found it's just a better way to respect others work, you don't want to put them in a position to have to ask you to take it down, it can just be considered a bit rude.

There's no shame in asking to use intellectual property, If you respect the work and the time somebody put to make it for the eyes of the community, then just send a little message

@FH Logo Designs Now I don't want to be rude either, but your approach to this is a bit flawed. To be perfectly blunt: if I painted a wall blue, would you piss on it if you thought that would make it better? I doubt it. So in this horrid analogy, Ciaran's design is the wall and you are pissing on it (with a cropped detail from another crest, making matters worse). So all things considered, and although referencing and crediting the originator of the work is noble, the practice of "improving" other people's designs by copy+paste is not something I am too keen on. Why not come up with your original reimagining of an existing crest (say Genk) instead? That is the sort of one-upmanship everyone can appreciate.

I agree with ty, moom and John, although it is obvious that FH didn´t do that with a bad intention.

Maybe Ciaran has no problem with this, but some of us yes so it´s better to say it before it hapens.
