I want to buy alakazzam's shirt and wear it to formal dinners and corporate events. I would plan to wear it on my wedding day and be buried in it. I would never was Alakazzam's shirt in fear of damaging the craftsmanship. At a more advanced age start my own company where all employees would have to wear Alakazzam's shirt to work. My children would go to school in Alakazzam's shirt.
Currently considering tattooing Alakazzams shirt on my torso.
For both of these kits you have to understand the historical context in which they come from. You have to understand what makes them great. I personally do not like the present Germany kit. It is out of context and a rip off of Nike's V design. And we have to compare and contrast these kits to their historical kits and judge the essence of them. For example, Kazzam's Argentina kit is nice yet it has too much sky blue on the back and the combination with black numbers makes it reminiscent of a Uruguay kit, not Argentina. Maybe a white black combo would have stayed in line with their history. The white shorts have been used so that is a very personal decision in either make them black or white. Good choice there. The collar on the kit is a big issue in that it is not executed well and looks out of place in an Argentinian kit. The striped on the other hand are awesome. Again, the essence and historical context have to come in play here. Kazzam' s kit is nice but misses the mark in that.
When introducing Germany's historical context into Moom's kit as well as well judging its essence afterwards, you can see how well it fits as a modernization of Germany's historical kits. Everything is in line and well executed. I love the monotone and patterns as well as the numbers. Very well done.
My vote: Moom. Everything about the kit is well done. I applaud both of you guys, you both had a hell of a tourney. Especially you Kazzam. You have proven to be a dark horse now. Congrats!
Tough one. Both designers decided on a more subtle approach, and both kits look great. It's actually very difficult to decide a winner for this round, since both competitors brought designs in similar styles. However, I think that Moom's triangular pattern looks awesome and gives it an edge (although I'd make tha pattern a bit darker, in order to make it more visible from distance).
@irvingperceni hmmm i disagree, i think it's weather you like it or not. When you look at a pretty girl you dont have to understand her grandma to like her.
@joegillibrand One definitely takes a good look at her mother though if contemplating marriage. Pretty girls come and go. Argentina and Germany are those girls that a one in thousands. Why? Because they part of the greats. Id take a look at their mother if they were women. Cheers, mate. I agree with you on their worthiness.
Like both of these, tough choice. would've preferred the Germany badge to have been full colour, still a really nice kit. The Argentina would've been better with black shorts though. The deciding factor for me is the blue back on the Argentina shirt, with a white or striped back and black shorts it would've been my choice, as it is not quite as good as Germany. My vote goes to Moom.
Not looking good on this end!~ As much of a shame it is to lose in the final again, I have no regrets, Kazzam was in a class of his own this whole tourney and this argentina kit was always the winner!
I stand by my previous comments, these tournaments are great, and thanks to Fenton again!
@NiGarCas I guess! I feel satisfied knowing I won the Intl' minnows tourney before the ACL one, its the only thing keeping me from becoming team Netherlands of DF :P :P :P
