Generic Description:
Little project, going to do the kits of all 16 teams that will play (barring match fixing scandals, moving to new cities or forced mergers) in the Chinese super league in 2014. Nike has an exclusive contract, so all the kits will be Nike, but there will be a lot of different styles and design ethics I will be using.
First up is Shanghai East Asia (Shanghai Dongya in Mandarin), one of three sides in Shanghai, who were formed in 2006 and are backed by the Port of Shanghai. The team have traditionally played in red and yellow/gold, and these are the colours Ive used, though the gold is very orange, and the red is quite deep.
