Generic Description:
Hey guys, I've always been in love with design, mostly jersey designs, and what I use to to do is draw jerseys. After I got introduced to this site, I saw many individuals create jerseys on softwares. I thought if I share my designs with the world it might actually be nice, but since I always drew them in black and white, it really got me nowhere. I found a software call Smart Shirt designer 2, but it really limited my ideas and designs, and so I went on a break. My Uncle, and his wife are both designers and they introduced me to a free software called Gimp, with the help of the internet and some people, I got a good hold of it, and created a France jersey design. Now it isn't mind blowing like the rest of the people's on this site, but it's the best I could do for a start, and hopefully I and many others will be able to expand on our designs. (So basically this is my first official design.)
And now for the real description. This is a France jersey, and the main aspect of it is the middle arches surrounding the French, and Nike crests. I used an arch design basically because France is famous for its Arch bridges, which are widely viewed throughout the world. These bridges were mostly built in the Renaissance period, were the new world came to start. It was full of modern advancements. This was basically the platform for my design. Modern looks, which is shown through the numbers and the collar. The jersey is simply using the Famous Blue, Red, and white colour scheme. The cuffs are based off of the great French design cuffs, which really pop out for their size and colour. On the back is the great French national team Motto, Les Blues. The number on the back contains the French Flag, and the number is white with red outlines just like the rest of the jersey. I made a beginners mistake, of typing "Benzema" in lower case.
I will gladly take peoples thoughts and improvements on this jersey to help me grow more. Stay tuned for the France Away jersey based on the 2006 World Cup one.
