- Generic Description: A hugely underrated kit. There is a significant kit to come on this list which broke the mould for the modern design (can you guess what it is yet?) but this one perfected it. A really refined shirt, which pulled off the granddad collar before the rest of the competition could in the following years, and the dark navy socks went beautifully with it. I’m not sure this kit can really be appreciated today. Shame about the unnecessary ‘umbro’ text on the sleeves.
