Description
Hey guys, I've always been in love with design, mostly jersey designs, and what I use to to do is draw jerseys. After I got introduced to this site, I saw many individuals create jerseys on softwares. I thought if I share my designs with the world it might actually be nice, but since I always drew them in black and white, it really got me nowhere. I found a software call Smart Shirt designer 2, but it really limited my ideas and designs, and so I went on a break. My Uncle, and his wife are both designers and they introduced me to a free software called Gimp, with the help of the internet and some people, I got a good hold of it, and created a France jersey design. Now it isn't mind blowing like the rest of the people's on this site, but it's the best I could do for a start, and hopefully I and many others will be able to expand on our designs. (So basically this is my first official design.) And now for the real description. This is a France jersey, and the main aspect of it is the middle arches surrounding the French, and Nike crests. I used an arch design basically because France is famous for its Arch bridges, which are widely viewed throughout the world. These bridges were mostly built in the Renaissance period, were the new world came to start. It was full of modern advancements. This was basically the platform for my design. Modern looks, which is shown through the numbers and the collar. The jersey is simply using the Famous Blue, Red, and white colour scheme. The cuffs are based off of the great French design cuffs, which really pop out for their size and colour. On the back is the great French national team Motto, Les Blues. The number on the back contains the French Flag, and the number is white with red outlines just like the rest of the jersey. I made a beginners mistake, of typing "Benzema" in lower case. I will gladly take peoples thoughts and improvements on this jersey to help me grow more. Stay tuned for the France Away jersey based on the 2006 World Cup one. OH AND ZOOM IN FOR THE DETAILS

It is not a bad start! good job my friend.

I mean obviously the more you practice, the better you will get at identifying and improving the small details in the presentation and design itself. The only thing is to be careful with how the design looks in the end. Take a look back and study the design. In my opinion, this looks like the template used for Portugal's 2010 kit. And that is OK for inspiration but make sure to innovate and progress in the design. After all, this website is about new and exciting things! innovations and exploration of design. Be risky and show off! I am sure that with practice and uploading designs, your talent will flourish. Keep it up!
Just don't flood the page like some other people have recently done. Does not sit well with many of the users! Good Luck!

@irvingperceni Oh, ya trust me I don't flood the pages. I like to take my time, but no this came out of my head completely. There was nothing that I had related this to. I didn't have any template in mind when creating the jersey, but I do see your understanding, but if you look closely the middle lines are arched, because I did base my design of off the Arch bridges in France itself, I should of made that more clear in my initial design, because it doesn't seem so arched. Thanks for your advice and feedback, and I know it isn't so polished.

Great start mate - honestly, the difference in the quality of my own work between when I first began uploading and now is crazy - http://www.designfootball.com/design-galleries/competitions/juventus-adidas-kits-competition/forza-juve-15304. Here's my first design. The more you work on it the better your designs will become, and this kit is certainly a good place to start. I look forward to seeing moire of your designs
